About the Opportunity We’re a fast‑growing voice analytics and AI company helping some of the world’s largest banks detect misconduct, fraud, and compliance breaches in client interactions—with precision, transparency, and regulatory defensibility. We’re now expanding into more agentic AI use cases and looking for a senior compliance or risk professional who wants to shape the future of AI oversight in banking. If you’ve led conduct surveillance, compliance monitoring, or risk transformation programs—and you’re excited by the chance to influence how regulators and banks adopt AI responsibly—this role is for you. You’ll collaborate with engineers and product leads to design intelligent compliance systems that uphold integrity while improving speed, accuracy, and transparency. Ideal Background Conduct risk, surveillance, monitoring, compliance technology, or RegTech transformation leadership. Key Responsibilities Translate regulatory expectations (e.g., HKMA, MAS etc.) into actionable product requirements. Define AI detection logic, conversation taxonomies, and labeling standards for voice and text analytics models. Advise on the development of model explainability frameworks and AI governance controls to align with banking regulators’ expectations. Partner with clients’ compliance officers and risk teams to co‑design real‑time and proactive surveillance workflows. Monitor new regulatory developments related to AI governance and conduct risk and reflect them in product requirements. Review and validate compliance features—ensuring every product capability can be demonstrated to a regulator. Professional Experience 10–18 years in a global bank, covering areas such as conduct risk and employee compliance monitoring, testing and control frameworks, RegTech innovation and compliance transformation, as well as financial crime analytics and risk policy implementation. Experience working with or evaluating voice surveillance or AI/analytics systems. Deep familiarity with conduct, fraud, and suitability frameworks. Hard Skills In‑depth knowledge of global compliance frameworks and data evidencing standards. Experience with or understanding of compliance surveillance systems. Strong analytical mindset; comfortable designing controls that rely on AI/ML outputs. Strong documentation and governance writing skills. Soft Skills Recognized for integrity, sound judgment, and professionalism. Comfortable engaging with regulators and senior risk stakeholders. Collaborative mindset with ability to articulate complex regulatory logic to tech builders. Curious, open‑minded, and enthusiastic about responsible AI innovation.
