Job Description - SVP/VP, Team Lead, COO Office HK – Production Support, Global Financial Market EN) Job Description Business Function As a leader in treasury operations, DBS extends a broad range of capabilities in foreign exchange and derivatives, money market and securities trading, to corporations and financial institutions. DBS trades in a comprehensive product range, including foreign exchange, as well as interest rates and derivatives. Global Financial Markets (GFM) provides total solutions to serve DBS clients' hedging and investment needs with a regional emphasis. We have a strong record in providing innovative wealth management solutions to our individual investors. We are a leader in regional products with an excellent, customer-driven research capability and with cutting-edge risk management technology and systems. Responsibilities Provide COO office coverage for GFM across Sales, Trading and Fixed Income business to drive initiatives and overall support. Provide management support to the team in resolving day to day activities across GFM Lead transformation initiatives and motivate team members to achieve business goals Collaborate with key stakeholders on strategic initiatives Expert knowledge of GFM product– FX, Derivatives, Money Market, Security Trading and Structure Products Deep understanding of end-to-end transaction flows and associated risks (e.g. regulatory, capital, market risk, credit risk, settlement., etc.) Drive change – as key representative to liaise with other support, control, and business units to spearhead GFM initiatives Enhance internal controls with a risk-focused mindset – regularly review and improve existing controls to uphold robust risk management for products/processes and ensure regulatory compliance Automation and Data – drive automation and data tools to optimize workflows and drive process efficiency Represent COO Office in committees, regional forums or meetings Perform additional tasks as needed to meet various business and control needs Requirements 10 or more years’ relevant experience in Global Financial Markets, Private Banking, or relevant fields Strong team leadership and people management experience are highly preferred In-depth knowledge of Derivatives and Structured Product including Spot, Forward, Options, Swaps, repo Familiar with treasury product, systems, and operational models Capable to handle and resolving issues within confined timelines Ability to manage multiple work streams to meet deadlines Good presentation and communication skills Strong sense of risk management and control Experience with automation tool (e.g. VBA, Python) and data visualization tool (e.g. Tableau) is highly preferred Apply Now We offer a competitive salary and benefits package and the professional advantages of a dynamic environment that supports your development and recognises your achievements.
