VP, Team Lead, Business Management & Production Support, COO Office HK, Global Financial Markets Join to apply for the VP, Team Lead, Business Management & Production Support role at DBS Bank. Business Function As a leader in treasury operations, DBS extends a broad range of capabilities in foreign exchange, derivatives, money market, and securities trading to corporations and financial institutions. The Global Financial Market (GFM) provides total solutions to serve DBS clients’ hedging and investment needs with a regional emphasis, offering innovative wealth management solutions and leading regional products backed by cutting‑edge risk‑management technology and systems. Responsibilities Provide BM Production support to sales, trading and fixed income desks, addressing day‑to‑day activities and resolving production/operational issues across GFM. Collaborate proactively with key stakeholders to identify, analyze and resolve problems, and lead change initiatives. Manage ad‑hoc incidents and changes effectively, acting as a business lead to liaise with other support, control and business units to drive GFM initiatives. Conduct reviews and ongoing improvements of existing internal controls to ensure sound controls are in place for products/processes and regulatory compliance. Manage day‑to‑day team operations and lead team members to achieve business goals. Drive the adoption of automation and data tools to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency. Represent the COO Office in committees, regional forums or meetings. Perform other necessary tasks as required to meet various business and control needs. Requirements Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience in Global Markets, Treasury or related fields. In‑depth knowledge of derivatives and structured products within the GFM business, including spot, forwards, options, swaps, repos and structured products. Comprehensive understanding of GFM end‑to‑end transaction flows and associated risk areas (regulatory, capital, market risk, credit risk, settlement). Familiarity with treasury products, systems and operational models. Strong team leadership and people‑management experience are highly preferred. Ability to handle and resolve issues within tight timelines. Proven ability to manage multiple work streams effectively to meet deadlines. Excellent presentation and communication skills, with a strong risk and control mindset. Experience with automation tools (e.g. VBA, Python, MS Power Automate) is a plus.
