Job Description - ED/SVP, Team Lead, Operational Risk Management, Global Financial Markets (WD67663) As a leader in global financial market operations, DBS extends a broad range of capabilities in foreign exchange and derivatives, money market and securities trading, to corporations and financial institutions. Global Financial Markets (GFM) provides total solutions to serve DBS clients’ hedging and investment needs with a regional emphasis. We are a leader in SGD and regional products with an excellent, customer‑driven research capability and with cutting‑edge risk management technology and systems. Responsibilities Lead and oversee operational risk management of Global Financial Markets and ensure robust risk management practices, regulatory compliance and operational excellence Advise the business on operational risk management for new products, services and initiatives and ensure compliance to regulatory requirements Oversee key operational risk management processes including complaint handling, litigation management, AML/fraud monitoring and personal data protection Strengthen COO office capabilities in control assurance, process management and governance Analyze regulatory changes and emerging operational risk issues Escalate material issues promptly to senior management and drive root cause analysis and timely follow up actions Collaborate with Head Office COO and operational risk teams on regional control frameworks, risk culture building and awareness training Leverage data, automation and digital tools to enhance productivity Promote collaboration, engagement and upskilling within local COO office team through projects, cross‑learning, and management exposure Requirements Minimum 15 years’ relevant experience in operational risk management, with strong understanding of regulations and industry best practices Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills Analytical, risk management and problem solving capabilities Knowledge of operational risk analysis, measurement and reporting Strong track record in operational risk management and driving operational excellence Familiarity with Hong Kong market and regulatory requirements Apply Now We offer a competitive salary and benefits package and the professional advantages of a dynamic environment that supports your development and recognizes your achievements.
