Job Description - Senior Associate/Associate, COO Office HK, Global Financial Markets (WD70813) Job Description Business Function As a leader in global financial markets operations, DBS extends a broad range of capabilities in foreign exchange and derivatives, money market and securities trading, to corporations and financial institutions. DBS trades in a comprehensive product range, including foreign exchange, as well as interest rates and derivatives. Global Financial Markets (GFM) provides total solutions to serve DBS clients' hedging and investment needs with a regional emphasis. We are a leader in SGD and regional products with an excellent, customer-driven research capability and with cutting-edge risk management technology and systems. Responsibilities Provide COO Office coverage for Global Financial Markets (GFM) across Sales, Trading and Fixed Income business to drive business management and controls aspects. Provide support to sales and trading teams to resolve issues related to system, workflow, operation and products. Responsible for cost & expense analysis, invoices processing, monitor budget and cost saving. Perform various enhancing business policies and guidelines to ensure it remains robust and in compliance with regulatory and internal requirements. Manage vendor and contract-related activities, including establishing and renewing contracts. Participate in various robotics/automation projects and enhancements across different BU/SU. Develop data dashboard and conduct data analysis to generate business insights. Serve as BCP coordinator, responsible for organizing and executing various drills exercise for GFM. Perform other tasks as required to support the diverse business and control needs of GFM. Requirements Degree holder in Finance or related disciplinewith minimum 5 years of experience in Treasury products, systems, project management and support. Good knowledge of data tool (e.g. Tableau) and RPA tool (e.g. Python, Visual Basic Application Macro in Excel) is a plus. Exposure to end user technology needs and workflow processes. Good organization, communication and well-learning of working attitude. Ability to manage multiple work streams and work under pressure to meet deadlines. Strong risk & control sense and analytical skills. Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese. Fulfillment of requirements under the Enhanced Competency Framework on Treasury Management is a plus. Candidate with less experience will be considered for the position of Associate.
