It is a renowned construction company in Hong Kong in building construction, civil engineering, foundations, electrical and mechanical engineering, railway and transport engineering, maintenance engineering and interior design engineering. Construction and development projects of the Group are widely distributed in Hong Kong, Mainland China, Macau, Taiwan and Vietnam. Its signature projects included the Hong Kong International Airport Skyplaza, the KCR East Rail and West Rail and No. 8 Clear Water Bay Road. Responsibilities Capable of independently carrying out TWD, value engineering and cost saving designs. Skilled in guiding construction projects to develop plans for technical deliverables including both permanent & temporary works. Proficient in conducting technical audits and ensuring compliance for ongoing construction activities. This is a hybrid role that involves both design office works and periodic site visits. Requirements Bachelor degree of civil & structural engineering or related disciplines; At least 12 years design and construction experiences in civil/ structural works for building and civil structures; Hands-on experience of site supervision and coordination; Sufficient experience in site-based roles on construction projects; Experienced in managing design consultants to ensure timely delivery of high quality work. Familiarity with local statutory approvals, temporary works design (TWD) and management, as well as design for safety and TWD compliance; Proficient in using common design software such as FREW, PLAXIS, Slope/W, SAFE, SAP 2000 etc; Capable of carrying out RC design, steel structuree design and geotechnical design; Professional qualifications in MHKIE(G) / MHKIE(S) is preferred; A team player who is results-orientated and proactive; Proficient in written and spoken Cantonese and English is a must, Mandarin is preferred.
