Maintaining financial records and statements Maintain accurate financial records. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and inventory records for our live streaming sales and pop‑up stores. Budgeting & Forecasting Assist in preparing month‑end closing with schedules, annual budgets and financial forecasts based on sales data from live streams, pop‑up events, and online platforms. Monitor variances and provide insights to optimise costs, such as inventory procurement from Europe and event expenses. Tax Compliance & Auditing Ensure compliance with Hong Kong tax regulations, including preparation and filing of tax returns (e.g., Profits Tax, Salaries Tax). Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and participate in stock take. Payments & Payroll Process vendor payments, customer refunds, employee payroll and staff claim. Manage cash flow for high‑volume live stream transactions and pop‑up event revenues. Financial Analysis & Suppor t Provide financial insights for business decisions, such as evaluating pop‑up store rentals (e.g., in K11 or Airside) or event budgets (e.g., hotel VIP events). Prepare reports on key metrics like turnover, gross profit, and ROI for founders' review. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure adherence to local laws (e.g., Companies Ordinance, Inland Revenue Ordinance) and implement internal controls to prevent fraud in e‑commerce operations. Ad‑Hoc Duties Support expansion initiatives, such as financial planning for permanent stores or self‑branded product lines. Collaborate with the team on event‑related finances (e.g., hotel bookings, prize draws). Qualifications & Requirements Education Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or HKICPA membership are highly preferred. Experience 8‑10+ years of accounting experience, ideally in e‑commerce, retail, or fashion industries. Familiarity with live streaming platforms or import/export businesses is a plus. Skills Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions like pivot tables, VLOOKUP). Strong knowledge of Hong Kong GAAP, tax laws, and financial regulations. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Able to work independently and good at problem solving. Ability to handle multi‑currency transactions (e.g., EUR for European suppliers). Fluent in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin. Personal Attributes Proactive, organised, and able to work in a fast‑paced SME environment. Well‑organised, responsible, self‑motivated with good communication skills.
