Wholesale Banking & Client Coverage
Hang Seng's Wholesale Banking business provides a broad spectrum of financing solutions to large corporations and financial institutions. We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Senior Manager, Lending Process and Control .
Principal responsibilities
• Oversee the team for implementation of end to end credit and lending process and control implementation
• Work with BU to improve the credit proposal quality to increase the credit approval rate and shorten the approval turnaround time.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing control measures, identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for enhancements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve internal control to ensure Relationship Management Department is compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigate operational and financial risks, under the guidance of senior management.
• Support the team to provide training and coaching to enhance RM/RSO awareness of credit risk control measures.
• Improve credit operation efficiency and quality by collecting RM/RSO feedback for LO issuance & limit loading questions and exchange with CSE/GSC to achieve a win-win situation.
• Drive the streamlining initiatives of the lending process.
• Oversee the regulatory reporting, credit and lending product MI.
Requirements
Requirements
• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Risk Management, Statistics or Quantitative Analysis.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in relationship management support, credit service, preferably in banking or financial institutions.
• Demonstrate understanding of Wholesale Customers' product and services requirement, lending process & control and knowledge about bank's internal operations, business structure, stakeholders and teams.
• Ability to interact and build relationship with business stakeholders at different levels.
• Keen attention to details and strong analytical skills, project management experience is plus.
• Able to work under pressure to catch tight timeline and adapt to changes in business preferred.
• Fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
• Strong PC user with good MS Office or Excel skills.
