Section Head & Executive Vice President - Financial Institutions (Job ID 4558)
Responsibilities
- Be a team member of Financial Institutions Department under Wholesale Banking Division ("WBD")
- Lead the Non-Bank Financial Institutions ("NBFI") Team to maintain and develop the Bank’s NBFI relationships and to achieve the business targets assigned to the Department
- Formulate and implement action plans & new initiatives to grow the portfolio of NBFI clients for the department
- Lead and direct marketing team to provide attentive customer service and to recommend products and services to meet the needs, risk profiles and affordability of customers
- Review and approve credit proposals and to recommend for higher authority’s approval in case of need
- Take up ad hoc projects and assignments when required
Requirements
- University graduate in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Economics or related discipline
- HKIB or equivalent professional qualifications is an advantage
- Passes the Hong Kong Securities Institute Licensing Examinations preferred
- Preferable over 10 years solid experience in commercial banking or relevant field, preferably in NBFI segment
- Solid experience in building and managing a portfolio of NBFI customers, with particular emphasis on developing total relationships with customers
- Knowledgeable on banking products and services
- Strong experience in conducting credit analyses and facility structuring
- Good team player with effective communication skills
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, fluent in Putonghua is preferable
