Job Purpose

  • Perform day to day remittance and settlement activities

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform day to day remittance and treasury settlement activities and conduct checker function including:
    • Monitor movement in CHATS and CMU
    • Check customer’s remittance instruction and conduct AML check to ensure it complies with Compliance and Group policy
    • Perform customer transactions booking, preparation of SWIFT message and monitor incoming SWIFT messages
    • Monitor Inward and outward TT, fund transfer and report funding to Front Office
  • Handles customer account including:
    • set up customer profile in back office system
    • Generate monthly statement to customer
    • Handles and resolves customer inquiries.
  • Handle loan and deposit administration activities including :
    • Loan drawdown / rollover for customer
    • New deposit / rollover for customer
    • Prepare daily fund movement
  • Handle monthly charges such as service providers and clearing house
  • Supports in system testing on new enhancements introduced
  • Control over the record maintenance / filing of supporting documents to be in proper place
  • Participate in ad-hoc operations functions as required and directed by Head of Operations
  • Ensures all work output meets the prescribed servicing standards
  • Supervise day-to-day settlement and operational support

Job Specification

  • Post-secondary educated or above
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in remittance and settlement
  • Conversant with SWIFT, HK RTGS operations and AML requirements pertaining to payment transaction processing
  • Sound knowledge of Swift payment
  • Knowledge of syndicate and bilateral loans would be an advantage
  • Proficiency in English, Cantonese is a must, fluency in Putonghua would be advantageous
  • Good communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
