We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Business and Project Manager to join our BNY Investments Asia-Pacific team. This role is located in Hong Kong - HYBRID.

BNY Mellon Investment Management, which is the umbrella name for all the investment management subsidiaries and affiliates within BNY Mellon, currently has a presence in locations in Asia Pacific, namely Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Korea, China and Taiwan. 

We are looking for an experienced contributor to cover:

Support product initiatives including market intelligence, peers’ comparison, and financial analysis. Project management to drive the completion of product development and product implementation. Support product management from a governance perspective Prepare business plan and presentation Project management &/or coordination in relation to business operations

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

Ongoing market intelligence to provide macro view of market development and opportunities as well as peers’ comparison (mainly mutual fund industry). Prepare business plan and presentation for product (mainly mutual fund) initiatives. Project management to manage, drive and complete product development and implementation. Negotiate with sales, legal, compliance and relevant stakeholders across APAC/EMEA/US for solutioning to complete product development and implementation. Product management from a governance and regulatory perspective. Project management &/or coordination in relation to business operations, implementation of new regulatory requirements, new corporate policies or business strategic plan Other ad hoc responsibilities as required

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

Finance or Business related Degree. - years’ experience in Asset Management / Financial industry.  Project management experience Effective communication and presentation skills Sound negotiations and problem-solving skills, with good analytical mind Familiar with Ireland, Luxemburg, Cayman and/or HK domicile funds from a regulatory perspective would add value. Fluent English required. Cantonese and/or Mandarin would add value. Able to read traditional and simplified Chinese would add value.
