Overview:
Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited, Asia's premier exchange, is seeking a Senior Data Business Project Manager to join its Markets Division. This exciting opportunity allows you to play a pivotal role in delivering Data Business initiatives and driving the company's growth.

Job Summary:
This is an exceptional chance to leverage your expertise in project management, business analysis, and technical understanding to drive platform development and project management within the Data Business team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end projects for business initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and scope alignment with business and IT departments.
  • Prepare and coordinate project proposals, including business justification, execution plans, financial projections, risk factors, and mitigation strategies, to support internal committee and board approval processes.
  • Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to understand business requirements and identify necessary technological enhancements.
  • Conduct business and technical analyses on possible initiatives from both business and technical perspectives, evaluate, and validate solutions for production deployment.
  • Support users in UAT testing, test planning, training materials, and other relevant documentations.
  • Maintain all project documentation and artifacts throughout different project phases.
  • Perform risk management analysis, identify, and escalate project risks on a timely basis, and drive resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data business projects, identify new business opportunities, and drive departmental business planning.
  • Assist in market data industry and market trends analysis to provide support for business strategy.
  • Coach and supervise team members.

Requirements:
  • Degree in IS/Finance/Business.
  • 10+ years of working experience as a Business Analyst/Project Manager, preferably gained from Banking/Brokerage/Fintech industry.
  • Good understanding of financial products, trading lifecycle, database, and system architecture.
  • Experience in gathering requirements from stakeholders and translating them into actionable plans.
  • Strong organizational and project management experience under both waterfall and agile methodologies, with familiarity with best practices and documentation.
  • Strong technical understanding in application development and architecture.
  • Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and people management skills.
  • Experience in team management and coaching junior members.
  • Self-starter, fast learner, detail-oriented with an innovative mindset.
  • Proficiency in both written/spoken English and Cantonese. Mandarin is a plus.

Salary: HKD 600,000 - HKD 800,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

Location: Exchange Square, Hong Kong SAR.

Shift: Standard - 40 Hours (Hong Kong SAR).
