The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority welcomes exceptional talent with a passion to realise the vision and mission of making the West Kowloon Cultural District a prime local and international destination for arts, culture and entertainment.

( This is a fixed-term contract position of 2-year with possibility for renewal subject to organisational needs and individual performance. )

You will be responsible for:

  • assisting to implement stakeholder engagement initiatives so as to build, enhance and protect the brand reputation of the West Kowloon Cultural District and the Authority;
  • preparing corporate and stakeholder communications materials including press release, lines-to-take, presentation and background brief;
  • providing support for the production and delivery of the Authority’s Annual Report, translation and proofreading of corporate communications materials and preparation of factsheets and information kits;
  • organising corporate/media events and familiarisation visits including preparation of invitation materials, RSVP follow up, event logistics and onsite event management;
    assisting in issues handling and crisis communications;
  • liaising with internal key functions and external stakeholders including government organisations, Legislative Council, political groups, media, and professional institutions etc.;
  • managing database of corporate stakeholders; preparing background research on local and international issues and providing general office logistic support; and
    assisting in ad-hoc communications projects when required;

You should:

  • possess a recognised university degree or above in journalism, communications, public relations or related disciplines;
  • have at least 2 years of relevant working experience in public affairs, stakeholder engagement, event management, media relations, corporate communications is preferred;
  • have hands-on experiences in preparing communications materials including press releases, media response; implementing corporate events, stakeholder engagement programmes, and delegation visits;
  • have solid experience in coordinating and liaising with external stakeholders from different background including media, government, political parties, and professional institutions;
  • have strong interpersonal skills, analytical mind, attention to details, a good team player, multi-tasking, able to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure;
  • be passionate about arts and culture; and
  • have excellent written and spoken English and Chinese be proficient in Putonghua
