The Watches and Fine Jewelry business division (WFJ) is a key pillar of the House of CHANEL with an exceptional growth across the 4 categories: Watches, Precious Jewelry, Haute Horlogerie and High Jewelry. To achieve our ambitions of becoming part of the key players on the market, we need to be strategic thinker, planning ahead and collaborate closely with Global and markets.


The key mission is to drive the governance and planning of Asia Pacific WFJ division with the strategic framework, to lead the key transformational and innovative initiatives across the division.

Impact You Can Create In The Role:
Reporting to the Asia Pacific Watches & Fine Jewelry Director, the Head of Governance & Operations will start with the first mission to fully dedicated to overall orchestrate the Future of Asia project for the WFJ division in Asia Pacific focusing on the following areas:

Define the future regions in the context of business & functional operations, reporting and governance, organization ecosystems covering the way of working and collaboration model.

To orchestrate and partner with all the WFJ metiers leads in identifying the elements required in preparing the division’s readiness for the D-day operations.

To build & orchestrate a master plan in strong partnership with the stakeholders outlines all the dependent and co-dependent elements required for a seamless operation as two regions by January 1 2025.

To take full ownership in overseeing the progress of the project and to make any adjustment as deemed appropriate.

To provide guidance with the stakeholders to strive for agile, seamless and timely execution

Once the Future of Asia project is complete, this role will evolve into the governance and planning business as usual, focusing on:

MTP and Strategic Planning:

Develop strategy framework to review and optimize the WFJ operating model to support the business ambition

o Steer the MTP planning and business planning cycle process, support the WFJ director for orchestration across the division, region & market

Governance and Portfolio Management:

Develop and define decision making and prioritization framework for governance

Innovation and Transformation:

Drive the cross-divisions innovation and transformation initiatives

What You Will Bring

Rich experiences (minimum 10-15 years of working experience) around strategic/corporate planning gained from sizeable multinational companies; experience gained from renowned consulting firms and strategic planning experience from retail industry (luxury sector) is preferrable.

Experience in leading cross functional teams or global/region on the strategic programs

Detailed oriented and with outstanding strategic planning skill with proven track record.

Able to demonstrate strong business acumen and sensitivity to the changes in the external business, social, economic, political and technological environment.

Possess an innovative mindset, able to demonstrate out of the box thinking with the courage to experiment and test new ways of doing things.

Strong presentation skills and able to articulate ideas from both himself/herself and others through effective presentation.

Able to think holistically and connect the dots in forming the big picture.

Strong influencing skills along with an analytical and people-oriented mindset.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build a good relationship & partnership with people from different levels in the organization and with different styles.

Able to have the right level of self-reflection and consciously looking for opportunities to elevate his/her performance.
