We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Business Development Team Leader.

Principal Responsibilities

Responsible for establishing and driving new business relationships and strengthening existing ones, whilst ensuring fair outcomes for all types of customers to fulfil their insurance needs Providing support to the communication of new products, propositions and relevant market information to customers Developing distribution channel’s people development initiatives, selling skill coaching, product knowledge training Managing a team of business development managers to execute plans and strategies to generate new business, increase revenue for existing ones and activate new branch distribution channels within HSBC Group Collaborating with multiple stakeholders, which may include branch managers, relationship mangers and product specialists, to maximise cross-selling opportunities for the bank Taking the lead in events, initiatives and activities to capture new business opportunities Protect the bank's reputation and ensuring an acceptable risk profile, whilst deepening your understanding of the client through credit and customer due diligence reviews Requirements University degree in Business or related discipline Possess strong commercial thinking and business acumen – able to highlight key compliance and risk issues that could impact business performance Possess Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examination Paper, including Paper 1, 3, and 5 Strong communication, organizational and project management skills
