Assistant Human Resources Manager (Employee Relations + HR BP)

The Job:  

The successful candidate is responsible for fostering positive employee-employer relationships and handling employee-related issues and concerns. This role acts as a strategic partner to the business to promote a productive, respectful and desirable work environment. In addition, this role investigates and resolves employee complaints and disciplinary issues, promoting open communication to ensure the Company policies and procedures are fairly and properly applied.

Major responsibilities include: 

Serve as a trusted advisor to the business on employee relations matters, providing guidance and recommendations Investigate employee complaints, grievances and disciplinary issues in a fair and impartial manner Facilitate conflict resolution and medication between employees and the business Provide support to people managers on effective employee relations practices, including performance management, effective communication and conflict management Ensure clear lines of communication to facilitate line manager’s accurate understanding of and compliance with HR and the Corporate policies, local and government regulations pertaining to employment practices Partner with BP team on initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive and productive work culture Analyze HR data and metrics and provide insight reports to leadership team for a sound decision-making Ensure compliance with HK Labour Ordinance and related laws and regulations Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required

The Person:

Degree holder in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related discipline A minimum of 5 years’ relevant HR experience gained in multi-national organizations including 1 year in supervisory capacity with proven experience in operation business model Well-versed in HK employment related ordinances and regulations Possess strong interpersonal, concise communication skills to collaborate with people across different functions and levels Knowledge of BPO customer service industry is a plus, with ability to understand the business and its drivers for success Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making abilities Excellent command of spoken and written English, Chinese and Cantonese
