Here is what you need to know about this role:
Follow up orders with vendors, customers, and internal parties to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery. Assist in the Product Development process to ensure that products meet customers’ quality and budget requirements. Maintain strong business relationships with vendors for product development and production. Arrange sample submission to customers for approval. Handle merchandising related documents. Manage of development and orders, follow up production and the delivery time frames. Price negotiation, sourcing suppliers to meet requirements and advance cost effectiveness. Communicate and prepare meeting with suppliers/buyers for EU customer. Understand the customer needs and requirements, develop effective sourcing strategies. Perform other duties as assigned by Management.You might be a good fit if you have …
University degree or equivalent. 5 years or above experience in merchandising industry for Toys products, candidate with less experience will also be considered as Merchandiser. Familiar with EU toys market and product compliance requirement is a must. Exposure to sourcing and production of multiple toys products and possesses different material knowledge. Familiar with merchandising, product development process and entire end to end order follow up process. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Mandarin. Excellent communication skills with overseas customers and vendors are essential. Ability to build strong relationships with the team, communicate effectively with internal and external parties. Well organized individual, expertise in negotiation, detail minded, able to manage multiple tasks, strong problem-solving skills, able to meet deadlines.
