Job Posting Details
The appointee will be required to provide administrative and operation support to the Department of Ocean Science. Duties include but not limited to supporting the student recruitment and admissions process, providing general support to students, coordinating student enrichment and alumni activities, preparing marketing collaterals, planning and executing promotional campaigns, managing the department’s website and social media platforms, providing secretarial support to faculty members, supporting the daily office administration and performing other duties as assigned.
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of full‐time work experience, preferably in program administration and in the education sector. The ideal candidate should be a good team player with the ability to work independently and flexibly; possess good interpersonal and communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility and a detailed mind. The appointee should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and be proficient in using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Candidates with less experience may be considered for appointment as Assistant Officer.
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
