(Ref.: H01/2025/0312).Job DescriptionHelping the Centre develop business and get investors for our spin-offsPitching the business to potential new partnersLiaising with investors and industrial partners and managing good relationsCommunicating with researchers and inventors to come up with practical plans that put their inventions in sustainable and high-growth businessesStudying industry trends and market opportunities to create business cases in relation to the inventionsEstimating economic value potential and develop growth tracksSeeking new business collaboration opportunitiesWorking in a team supervised by senior staff members of the CentreSkills and RequirementsA Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Business, Management, or a related disciplineMinimum 5 years of experience in business management, preferably specializing in technology-driven sectors including biomedical instrumentation, industrial automation, artificial intelligence.Highly familiar and deeply understand China's business landscapeProven experience in getting investments from investorsAbility to learn and acquire highly sophisticated scientific and industry knowledge quickly (education or work experience in the following sectors an advantage but not a must: life science, healthcare, electronic engineering, material engineering, applied physics)Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organizationCapability to drive an independent workstream in the context of a broader team projectComfort with highly ambiguous, ever-changing situationsFluent spoken English and MandarinImmediately available and may require working outside normal office hours and on weekendsA salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered.Applicants should submit their up-to-date C.V., quoting the job reference number, with information of current/expected remuneration and availability, to hr@abic.hk.
