1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicantsOur client is hiring an experienced IT specialist, who is responsible for evaluating, recommending, and reviewing all technology solutions within the digital technology portfolio to ensure alignment with their clients' business objectives and delivery of optimal operational performance.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate, recommend, and review all technology solutions within the digital technology portfolio to ensure alignment with the client's business objectives and delivery of optimal operational performance.Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions. Evaluate and select appropriate technology tools, platforms, and frameworks to support system scalability and drive innovation.Develop and maintain technology standards, guidelines, and documentation to ensure system reliability, scalability, and maintainability. Provide technical support and guidance to cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to established practices.Continuously monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimisations. Stay current with emerging technologies and apply innovative solutions to enhance system capabilities and efficiency.Ensure that technology implementations and integrations comply with data compliance regulations and industry best practices across regions including Hong Kong, Mainland China, Southeast Asia, Europe, and the USA. Coordinate with security and legal teams to maintain robust data protection measures. Adhere to data privacy and protection regulations specific to the tourism, hospitality and retail industries, ensuring that system designs meet industry-specific compliance requirements.Research and apply new technologies and methodologies to continually improve systems and workflows. Propose enhancements that increase efficiency, reduce complexity, and support the client's strategic objectives.Perform any other duties from time to time as the client may reasonably direct.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Relevant professional experience of 5 to 10 years, including 5 years implementing and integrating technology solutions, with exposure to CRM, CDP, MAE, TAS, and related systems.Familiarity with modern cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Ali Cloud, etc.) and microservices architecture. Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD processes is a plus. Strong data integration, modelling, and transformation (ETL/ELT) skills. Proficiency in database management systems (SQL, NoSQL) and related technologies.Proven experience in ensuring alignment with international data regulations, especially in Mainland China, Southeast Asia, Europe, and the USA. Understanding of compliance and best practices in tourism, hospitality and retail industries is preferred.Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working with internal and external stakeholders and business partners. Able to clearly communicate complex technical concepts and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.Excellent project management abilities, capable of leading teams to efficiently complete projects. Experience in project management and leadership roles is preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, able to operate effectively under pressure. Demonstrated ability to learn and apply emerging technologies quickly.Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese.Seniority level
