Job Description Responsible for leading the strategy, commercial construct, negotiation approach and delivering improved renewal outcomes. This role is critical to NIQ's success as it drives the retention and growth of our largest retail client relationships. This role focuses on understanding why our clients share data with NIQ, what they value in return and how we can expand those partnerships in a way that is aligned to NIQ Retail strategy. Key Responsibilities Plan renewal opportunities in advance year to year to set goals and objectives. Assess and track client health to identify and mitigate potential risks and liabilities associated with renewals. Develop the renewal strategy for retail renewals. Lead the analysis and preparation of contract renewals and Competitive Request for Proposals (RFP). Coach and consult internal teams regarding the generation of the deal, financial drivers, and negotiation tactics. Collaborate internally with cross-functional teams to align the strategy. Effectively challenge and influence internal teams. Understand NIQ’s corporate strategy to aid in the process and proposed solutions. Partner with account leads to develop win themes aligning client priorities to NIQ. Review and interpret contract terms and conditions. Negotiate agreements with clients and other stakeholders. Ensure contracts comply with requirements. Collaborate with legal and finance teams to develop contract terms. Qualifications Clear and concise communication skills to effectively engage with senior leaders. Skilled at motivating others to work toward a specific vision. Self-starter, extremely motivated to achieve outcomes on firm deadlines. Familiarity with Nielsen IQ solutions, tools, and applications. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proven experience demonstrating strategic thinking skills. Experience with contract negotiations. Ability to analyze and interpret complex information and contracts. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
