ResponsibilitiesThe jobholder will be responsible for the assessment and administrative support duties of the Claims Management Department in accordance with the standard operating procedures of the department, including:Overseeing the assessment of preauthorization, preassessment, and medical claims performance and quality in compliance with the terms and conditions of the policy.Supporting daily operations not limited to case assessment with the client’s policy and medical knowledge.Liaising with medical professionals/teams, provider team, sales, clients, and members (if needed) to conduct assessment reviews and investigations.Following up on members' requests with other departments when necessary.Establishing various documentation tasks to improve the efficiency of the entire process.Working closely with different departments of Bupa Global and Bupa HK to follow up on outstanding issues.Prioritizing preauthorization and claims effectively; working towards team SLAs and quality of work.Performing other related duties as required and supporting projects with necessary input and comments.Providing periodic reports to monitor the various SLAs fulfillment and team performance.Qualifications, Training, and Experience5 years of experience in preauthorization and medical claim processing.University graduate or professional qualification, preferably with LOMA qualification, medical discipline, or equivalent.Experience in processing preauthorization and medical claims, along with customer service experience, will be an advantage.Customer-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong team player, willing to learn, able to work independently and under pressure.Self-motivated, analytical, and detail-minded in problem solving.Strong sense of responsibility with a high level of integrity and trust.Excellent command of English and Chinese in both written and spoken forms.Sound PC skills in MS Word, Excel, and Chinese word processing.Bupa offers 5 days of work per week and comprehensive remuneration packages, including base salary, study assistance plan, company pension plan, life and medical benefits, dental benefits, annual leave, examination leave, etc.Bupa is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from qualified candidates.
