Manager - Policy, Registration and Oversight (1-year contract)Assist in policy research projects to promote the quality of financial reporting and auditing, as well as the healthy development of the accounting profession; Review and process new and renewal applications for the issuance of practising certificates to certified public accountants and registration of audit practice units, and respond to related enquiries; Assist in performing the annual review of HKICPA’s performance of the specified functions; Manage and review the work performed by officers; Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or above; At least 5 years of working experience in professional firms (such as auditing or accounting firms and consulting firms), banks or other financial institutions, commercial organisations or public bodies; Possession of accounting and auditing knowledge or CPA qualification will be an advantage; Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and project management skills; Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; Proactive, agile, with a strong sense of responsibility, detail-oriented, able to work independently in a team and multi-task, deadline-driven.
