Position Overview: As an SEO Specialist, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing comprehensive international SEO strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of on-page SEO and a solid grasp of technical SEO to optimize performance across Baidu and Google. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, including account managers and strategists, to ensure that our SEO strategies align with client goals and drive significant performance improvements. While client interaction is limited, you may participate in select presentations of strategies and performance insights. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute SEO strategies tailored for both Baidu and Google, with a focus on enhancing international search visibility. Conduct in-depth SEO analyses, including reviews of organic traffic, keyword rankings, and indexation, providing data-driven recommendations for optimization. Perform comprehensive technical SEO audits, including site speed, canonicalization, XML sitemaps, and hreflang configurations, to ensure best practices are upheld. Lead website migration projects, ensuring that SEO performance is preserved and enhanced throughout the process. Proactively monitor organic search performance, identifying areas of opportunity and improvement for existing strategies. Stay abreast of the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and technological advancements to inform and refine strategic recommendations. Present SEO strategies and performance insights during internal team discussions and, where necessary, in client meetings. Requirements:4+ years of experience in SEO, with demonstrable expertise in both on-page and technical SEO, particularly within Baidu and Google platforms. Proven track record of conducting SEO audits and developing multi-regional SEO strategies. In-depth understanding of algorithm updates and SEO best practices. Proficiency with industry-standard tools, including SEMRush, Moz, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and Baidu-specific tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Excellent communication and organizational abilities, with a proven capacity to work collaboratively across teams. Fluency in English and Chinese is required as you will be communicating with clients and internal stakeholders in both languages. Working knowledge of ERNIE: While expertise in ERNIE is not mandatory, a strong understanding of its capabilities and potential applications is highly advantageous. As AI continues to reshape the digital marketing landscape, particularly within China, familiarity with ERNIE can significantly enhance SEO strategies on Baidu and help clients navigate the Chinese digital ecosystem more effectively. Experience with content management systems such as Word Press, Adobe Experience Manager, or Drupal. Bilingual proficiency or knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
