Client DescriptionJob DescriptionIT Infrastructure SpecialistResponsibilities

Provide Windows / VM administration and Tier-2 technical supportResponsible for system administration, system configuration, monitoring and backupApply system patches and perform regular maintenance and upgradesProvide support on Windows / UNIX server administrationPerform diagnosis on system hardware and software problemsMaintain technical and reference documentsProviding Internal Support to group VDI PlatformPlan and manage implementation of network and different technologies projects by working closely with internal teams and external customersOrganize project schedule and resources with customers, engineers, vendors and third partiesEvaluate latest technologies and productsPerform Business and Market analysis and prepare presentation and proposalMonitor project status, quality, material procurement and progressDesign and implementation of network infrastructurePrepare and present project schedule to Senior ManagementProvide user manuals and technical documents for the systemsCarry out system integration tests and user acceptance tests to ensure the stability in production stagePerform system checking and implementation of programs for performance tuning, troubleshooting and maintenanceNight emergency call support may be requiredProvide consultancy services covering project implementation, post-production support and day-to-day operations on Linux Platform for mission-critical systemsConsole management, remote monitoring and support of the IT infrastructure – LAN/WAN, Servers/Network & StorageManage and execute the job scheduling process according to the pre-defined work scheduleResponsible for Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, escalation and cases follow upAdhere to command center security policy

Job RequirementsIT Infrastructure SpecialistRequirements

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplinesA minimum of 2 years' experience in Windows 2003 and 2012 server administrationSolid working experience in Windows AD and cluster administrationKnowledge of AIX, Linux, IBM Tivoli, IBM MQ, IBM TSM, Symantec Netbackup/Backup Exec is preferredKnowledge of Networking and Firewall, Storage, SAN Switch, Load balanceA good team player with analytical & problem-solving skills, self-motivation and good interpersonal skillsGood command of spoken and written English and Chinese

Additional Requirements

High diploma or above in Information Technology and related disciplines1 to 3 years hands-on experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure support using Citrix Xen App, Xendesktop technologiesSolid work experience in virtualization technologies such as VMware VSphere suite and Citrix XenserverGood interpersonal, analytical and communication skillsFresh Graduates will also be considered
