If you aim high, the sky is the limitThe role directly supports our traders by managing daily position and P&L reconciliations, facilitating ETF creation/redemption processes, and executing various other controls that have a direct impact on trading activities. Our Operations team is renowned for its deep expertise in processes unique to our trading operations and play an important role in assessing and implementing workflows required for new business opportunities in the APAC region. In addition to overseeing operational tasks throughout the entire trade lifecycle, we’re looking for a candidate with experience in process improvement and automation, with the capability to design and implement innovative standard operating procedures. As a member of the broader Risk Management and Operations (RMO) team, you will also have the opportunity to broaden your expertise and gain exposure within risk management, enhancing your professional growth and development.What You Will Do

Oversee daily trade bookings, position and P&L reconciliations, settlement challenges, and corporate action eventsEnsure accurate and timely delivery of reports on trades, positions, cash holdings, costs, and P&L attributionCoordinate and manage all operational aspects throughout the trade lifecycle, from initiation to settlementCollaborate closely with counterparties, custodians, and prime brokers to on-board new businesses and address daily issuesIdentify and drive process improvement initiatives, focusing on increasing operational efficiency and scalability.Design and implement automated solutions that streamline workflows using best practices in data management and automation, using VBA, SQL and Python.Effectively document all improvements and solutions, ensuring clear communication and knowledge transfer within the team.What You Need to Succeed

3 to 5 years of Mid-office/Operations experience, preferably from a buy-side environment (Hedge funds, Prop Trading) or Prime brokerageBachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, or a related fieldSolid product knowledge in listed equities, ETFs, derivatives, and FXFamiliarity with Asian securities markets and their respective regulations is preferredProficient in Excel, with practical experience in VBA, SQL, and PythonDemonstrated experience in process improvements and designing automated solutions, ideally within a trading environmentExcellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing areas for improvementStrong communication skills, with the ability to document and explain technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersA proactive, assertive, and flexible personality
