People & Organization Lead for Hong Kong & Singapore , who will be overseeing and executing the P&O strategy, ensuring the alignment of our people-related initiatives with organizational goals in these key markets. This role will also be a strategic partner with our hospital leaders, to provide guidance on people-related matters, and lead efforts to drive engagement, culture, talent management, and organizational development in both Hong Kong and Singapore.The ideal candidate would be a proven leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and a passion for creating an inclusive and high-performance culture. This role will report directly to the People & Organization Director, MVH Asia & General Manager, Singapore & Hong Kong, and collaborate closely with other leaders in the region to support business growth.Key Responsibilities:Strategic People Leadership:

Partner with business leaders to develop and implement people strategies that align with the company's objectives in Hong Kong and Singapore.Lead the design and execution of talent management strategies, including succession planning, leadership development, performance management, and learning & development programs.Drive the development of a strong organizational culture and values that support an engaged, inclusive, and high-performing workforce.

Talent Acquisition & Retention:

Oversee talent acquisition strategies, ensuring that hiring efforts attract diverse and high-calibre candidates.Support initiatives to improve Associate engagement, retention, and overall Associate Experience in both markets.Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure that recruitment processes align with the business's needs and the company's values.

Associate Experience & Engagement:

Champion and continuously enhance the Associate Experience, ensuring Associates feel supported, valued, and motivated.Implement engagement initiatives, including surveys, feedback mechanisms, and programs that promote a culture of continuous improvement.Serve as an advocate for Associates and act as a trusted advisor for addressing workplace concerns, fostering a positive and open work environment.

Organizational Development & Change Management:

Lead organizational development initiatives, including workforce planning, change management, and restructuring efforts as needed.Support the execution of key transformation programs to drive organizational agility and effectiveness.Ensure that our People & Organization processes, policies, and practices are adaptable to changing business needs and external trends.Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the overall efficiency of P&O processes, particularly in areas where technology and automation can drive significant impact.

Compliance & Risk Management:

Ensure compliance with local employment laws, regulations, and industry best practices in both Hong Kong and Singapore.Manage Associate relations issues and act as a trusted advisor to the business on complex P&O matters.Regularly monitor and assess people-related metrics, providing insight to business leaders to mitigate risks and improve outcomes.

Leadership & Team Development:

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing P&O team in Hong Kong and Singapore, ensuring alignment to business objectives.Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment where the team feels empowered to drive P&O excellence.Act as a role model for the company's values and ethics.Lead the strategic planning and implementation of HR system automation across Hong Kong and Singapore to improve efficiency, data accuracy, and user experience.Identify and implement the right HR technology tools that streamline workflows, enhance data-driven decision-making, and reduce administrative burden.Partner with IT, Finance and external vendors to ensure smooth integration of HR systems with other business systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.Oversee the optimization of current HR platforms, ensuring that all HR systems are functioning effectively, and that Associates and managers have a user-friendly experience.Take ownership of the payroll function across both markets, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll while maintaining compliance with local regulations.Identify opportunities for payroll automation to reduce errors, administrative workload, and processing times.Work closely with the finance team to ensure smooth coordination between HR and payroll functions, and that payroll reporting aligns with financial reporting and budgeting cycles.Implement best practices in payroll systems, driving transparency, and improving the efficiency of pay calculations, deductions, and disbursements.Review and ensure that payroll practices are compliant with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.

Governance and Compliance:

Establish and maintain strong governance frameworks for all People & Organization processes in Hong Kong and Singapore, with a focus on consistency, accuracy, and legal compliance.Design and implement policies, procedures, and internal controls that ensure adherence to local labor laws, tax regulations, and corporate guidelines.Conduct regular audits of HR systems and processes to identify and mitigate any risks or gaps in compliance and make recommendations for improvements.Ensure that Associate data privacy and security measures meet the highest standards, in compliance with GDPR (or applicable data protection laws in both Hong Kong and Singapore).

Who are we looking for?Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Human Resources or People & Organization leadership roles, with at least 5 years of experience managing people in a complex, multi-market environment.Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and best practices in Hong Kong and Singapore.Demonstrated experience in driving strategic HR initiatives across talent management, leadership development, and Associate engagement.Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Fluency in English is required; additional language proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus (depending on the specific role location).What can you expect from Mars Veterinary Health?At Mars Veterinary Health (MVH), the world we want tomorrow is
