About the team Japanese Corporate Section1 is responsible for maintaining and developing banking business activities with Japanese companies especially belonging to industries such as ICT, Semiconductor, Electronic Components, Automotive, Automobile Component, Resource & Material, General Trading Company, Industrial Electric Machinery. Role requirements - To visit and maintain close contact as well as good relationship with existing customers to maximize our profits; - To acquire new customers to maximize our profits; - To provide mainly transaction banking services such as loan, deposit, FX, trade finance etc. to our customers to maximize our profits (Occasionally to provide investment banking services); - To prepare credit application/call memo/instruction sheet and all the necessary reports/documents relating to customers; - To collaborate with other departments (middle office, back office & sales support, Product team etc.) and answer customers’ inquiries. Essential Functions - To act as a professional business promotion staff and to provide banking service to clients and deliver outstanding business results. - To maximize our profits and strengthen customer relationships, one must be able to think and act proactively and independently. - Decision on all matters related to banking business. - To guide lower-grade staff if necessary. Competencies - We are looking for an individual who has mind-set to make improvements for higher productivity and performance - The individual should proactively analyze his/her work to improve quality and efficiency; - The individual should develop strategies to maximize revenue for the department, team, and individuals, as well as originate new deals starting from customer and industry knowledge. - The individual should respect for and commit to high standards of business conduct and integrity in conducting operations, reporting and etc. Work experience, education and skills - Bachelor’s degree in any disciplines; - Minimum 3 years' experience in corporate banking or sizeable trading company or sizeable manufacturer etc.; - Excellent communication and presentation skills; - Native Cantonese and fluent in English; Good Japanese & Mandarin would be a plus; - Proficiency in MS Words, Excel & Power point, etc. Application Please indicate your current salary, expected salary and notice period on the CV for the application.
