Assistant Claims Manager

Primary Details Time Type: Full time Worker Type: Employee Providing delivery of claims services, determining proper policy coverage to conclude, investigate, evaluate and negotiate assigned cases. Ensuring customer satisfaction and equitable solution to claims in accordance with company guidelines. Your new role Effectively handle and approve legitimate claims within your written authority levels, ensuring they are managed and paid in accordance with policy terms and internal procedures, while providing technical expertise and leadership. Identify claims with recovery potential and refer them to the designated recovery team for follow-up. Support the implementation of claims management strategies and objectives for the region / branch Maintain current knowledge of insurance guidelines and policy changes and modifications to approve claims within appropriate authority levels Contribute to the refinement of processes and procedures to improve Claims systems and procedures Maintain good client relationships with the insured, agents, service providers and the general public Respond to client requests in accordance with service standards Provide information and feedback on claims activity and developing trends to underwriters/risk assessors to enable appropriate actions to be carried out May supervise the investigation and settlement of all claims within the team Provide guidance to other Claims colleagues when needed About you: Relevant experience with Liability claims Strong knowledge of insurance industry and claims processes Relevant tertiary or industry qualifications Experienced in handling legal cases Organizational and communication skills Analytical and negotiation skills Communication Skills in English and Chinese About QBE What if you could have a positive impact - at work and in the world?
