Claims Manager (Property and Casualty Claims) The Claims Manager will lead and manage the Property & Casualty claims team, ensuring efficient and fair handling of claims while maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders. This role requires proven leadership, technical claims expertise, and vendor management experience. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop a team of claims professionals to achieve departmental objectives. Set clear performance goals and monitor progress through regular reviews. Oversee end-to-end handling of property and casualty insurance claims, ensuring timely and accurate settlement. Review complex claims and provide guidance on coverage, liability, and settlement strategies. Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and service standards. Manage relationships with external vendors such as loss adjusters, legal advisors, and repair service providers. Negotiate service agreements and monitor vendor performance to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness. Prepare regular reports on claims performance, trends, and reserves for senior management. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal audit standards. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business, Law, or related field. Minimum 10–12 years in General Insurance, with strong exposure to Property & Casualty claims. Proven success in leading a team and managing complex claims portfolios. In-depth knowledge of P&C insurance products and claims processes. Experience in vendor management and negotiation. Fluent in Cantonese and English (spoken and written).
