Financial Services Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Operations Specialist to join our team in Hong Kong. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting end-to-end processing of equity trade booking/matching, reconciliation, and settlement process for DBS Vickers.
Key Responsibilities- Support trade settlement, asset transfer, mark-to-market pricing review, stock reconciliation, IPO processing, private placement, and other related tasks.
- Produce daily, monthly, and annual regulatory, reconciliation, commission/fee billing, and management information system (MIS) reports.
- Evaluate and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure alignment with new policies and ongoing risk management activities.
- Contribute to change initiatives, providing input on potential impact on current processes and driving change management in coordination with IT to increase automation and controls.
- Participate in system enhancement and process improvement projects to optimize business efficiency.
- Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the Banking and Finance industry, preferably in trade support and transaction processing.
- Proficiency in Omgeo CTM terminal, Bloomberg, and Order Management Systems.
- Familiarity with share placement and IPO processes.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities to streamline and automate processes.
- A strong understanding of the control environment and a proactive approach to minimizing operational risk.
- Ability to improve processes, coordinate multiple tasks, and work effectively in a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with proficiency in Putonghua an advantage.
We offer a competitive salary range of HKD $60,000 - HKD $100,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
