About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our Finance Consulting team in Hong Kong. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing complex data sets to provide valuable insights that inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients, management, and relevant stakeholders to define project goals and objectives.
  • Understand the unique challenges faced by each client and tailor recommendations and solutions accordingly.
  • Research, develop, and implement effective data-gathering methods.
  • Analyze and synthesize data from various sources, including financial records, market trends, and operational metrics.
  • Utilize reporting tools to create insightful reports and interactive dashboards.
  • Develop data transformation pipelines from data sources to views required by reporting tools.
  • Present findings to clients in a clear and impactful manner.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in management information systems, information technology, mathematics, statistics, or related field.
  • Practical experience in implementing reports and data transformation within a finance context is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and critical thinking.
  • Ability to complete milestones and work toward multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • Confident in decision making and the ability to explain processes or choices as needed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
