Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data governance standards, controls, and procedures across business units.
  • Define and maintain a data strategy that aligns with the Bank's data governance framework.
  • Monitor emerging data regulations and trends to ensure compliance and maintain a contemporary data governance program.
  • Oversee processes for improving data quality, cataloging, and metadata management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or a data-related discipline.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in data governance, data management, or AI/ML governance-related work.
  • Experience in establishing and monitoring data governance frameworks.
  • Expert knowledge of data governance frameworks and data management best practices.
  • Sound knowledge of HK regulatory requirements related to data governance.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional, collaborative environment.
