Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and perform preventative maintenance on tools, appliances, and equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend their lifespan.
  • Calibrate controls, gauges, and meters to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Identify and locate shut-off valves to prevent water damage and other safety hazards.
  • Order, mark, and stock parts and supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked inventory.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and purchase orders to ensure efficient ordering and stocking.
  • Inspect tools, equipment, and machines to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
  • Enter and locate work-related information using computers to ensure efficient communication and record-keeping.
  • Operate power lifts and other heavy equipment to move and place heavy objects.
  • Complete life safety checklists, including fire-pump run tests and generator run tests, to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Inspect fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Assist in the development of disaster response protocols to ensure a swift and effective response in emergency situations.
  • Respond to guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Assist management in hiring, training, and scheduling employees to ensure a well-trained and efficient team.
  • Evaluate and counsel employees to ensure they are meeting performance expectations.
  • Discipline and motivate employees to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
  • Coach employees to improve their skills and performance.

Requirements

  • Technical, trade, or vocational school degree.
  • At least 2 years of related work experience.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to move up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
