We are seeking a skilled Software Architect to make strategic high-level decisions regarding software development. You will possess a comprehensive view and establish architectural frameworks for software design and implementation to steer the development team.

An exceptional software architect combines a robust technical foundation with a diverse skill set in IT, demonstrating a capacity for rapid learning and innovation. Software Architects are adept at design and have the ability to formulate a cohesive vision for software features and functionalities.

The objective is to deliver a structured approach for the development of software or systems that yield high-quality IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and architect cloud-native applications utilizing microservices and contemporary technologies Lead the architectural strategy and methodologies that align with the organization's goals Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications Employ tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interfaces of the desired product Develop comprehensive product specifications with a focus on system integration and feasibility Define all aspects of development, including suitable technology, workflows, and coding standards Effectively communicate all concepts and guidelines to the development team Monitor the progress of the development team to ensure alignment with the initial design Provide technical mentorship and coaching to developers and engineers Ensure that software meets all quality, security, modifiability, and extensibility requirements Approve the final product prior to launch

Required Qualifications

Demonstrated experience as a software architect Proficiency in current technology stacks such as Microservices, NoSQL, and MQ Background in software development and coding in various programming languages (Java, Objective C, Swift) Strong understanding of software design, architectural patterns, and Agile methodologies In-depth knowledge of UML and other modeling techniques Familiarity with distributed and resilient system design Understanding of software quality assurance principles A technical mindset with meticulous attention to detail Quick learner with a penchant for innovation Excellent organizational and leadership capabilities Outstanding communication and presentation skills MSc/MA in computer science, engineering, or a related field
