Role Summary
The Point72 Investment Professional Development team is seeking an experienced financial professional with a passion for coaching to help guide and develop aspiring investment analysts in our Point72 Academy program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize extensive buyside experience to train and mentor analysts on financial modeling.
- Develop, create, and deliver compliance-approved content to advance the core modeling, fundamental research, and analytical skills of Academy analysts.
- Conduct company research to prepare compliant content for training sessions.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes to ensure the training curriculum remains relevant and aligned with best practices.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align training initiatives with the organization's growth strategy and goals.
- Provide academic guidance and training to Academy analysts regarding investment theses, fundamental research, and learning how to pitch investment recommendations.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of capital markets and/or learning and development experience in investment research with a track record of success and strong financial modeling and financial statement analysis skills.
- English and Chinese language fluency, Japanese a plus.
- A passion for equity markets, investing, and developing and mentoring others.
- Exceptional critical and analytical thinking ability.
- Clear communicator who understands his/her audience and provides transparency.
