Kwai Fong is a leading garment trims and packaging manufacturer based in Europe. We have headquarters in Europe, trading offices in Hong Kong, and factories in Europe, China, and Southeast Asia. Our main customers are international fashion brands and apparel companies.
We are looking for a Senior Merchandiser to join our team. As a Senior Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning and implementing merchandising strategies, understanding customer behavior, collaborating with buyers, and building partnerships to drive revenues and margins.
The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the trims, packaging, or related field. You should also be proficient in English, Chinese, and Mandarin. Additionally, you should have solid experience in independently following up on development and orders, as well as possible travel to China or overseas manufacturing locations.
Job Description
A Senior Merchandiser at Kwai Fong will be responsible for:
- Planning and implementing merchandising strategies to drive revenues and margins.
- Understanding customer behavior and collaborating with buyers to build partnerships.
- Performing daily merchandising duties in development and order follow-up.
- Liaising with buyers and clients to provide excellent customer service.
- Communicating with Sales Teams about product development and orders.
- Working closely with manufacturers and teammates on product sourcing, development, quotations, sampling, and bulk order follow-ups.
- Negotiating prices and resolving problems efficiently.
- Clearly communicating with suppliers about lead times and ensuring all aspects of product compliance and quality standards.
- Ensuring on-time delivery by communicating with vendors and factories, identifying and resolving potential problems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed as a Senior Merchandiser at Kwai Fong, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the trims, packaging, or related field.
- Proficiency in English, Chinese, and Mandarin.
- Solid experience in independently following up on development and orders.
- Possible travel to China or overseas manufacturing locations.
