Role Overview
Blackstone, the world's largest alternative asset manager, seeks a skilled Associate to join its Global Public Affairs team in the Asia-Pacific region. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting senior executives in global communications and media relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile media reports and develop briefing notes, communications plans, and speeches for Blackstone's senior executives.
- Collaborate with Blackstone business teams on public rollouts around transactions.
- Support the senior Public Affairs team in identifying and engaging with media outlets.
- Conduct in-depth research for projects across Blackstone's business units.
- Research, outline, edit, and proofread materials for various communications channels.
- Work with local APAC-based agencies to design and execute digital campaigns across key markets in the region.
- Oversee and drive the LinkedIn program for key executives in the APAC region.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to generate content and campaign ideas from ideation to delivery.
- Monitor daily media coverage on firm and industry news.
- Lead measurement and reporting of marketing and social media activities.
Requirements
- Proficient in English, with the ability to understand and write clearly about technical subjects.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal and digital media skills.
- Experience in crafting digital content assets and publishing on various platforms.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
