Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Management Specialist to join our team at BNP Paribas Asset Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the trade lifecycle, including order processing, trade settlement, corporate actions, valuation functions, etc.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Asset Management industry and experience in managing asset management operational projects, including funds migration, transfer agent migration, change of fund accounting systems, new fund launch, and closure. Proficiency in written and oral English and Mandarin is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the trade lifecycle, including order processing, trade settlement, corporate actions, valuation functions, etc.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders globally and regionally to deliver projects related to operational changes.
  • Promptly respond to queries from internal teams (investment management, client services) and provide solutions to issues encountered by the investment teams.
  • Analyze, review, and prepare regulatory, compliance, management, analytical, and ad-hoc report requests from internal/external stakeholders.
  • Strategize with technology to design and implement solutions to drive operational efficiencies.
  • Maintain an astute awareness of industry, markets, best practices, and regulatory changes & settlement practices across the Asian markets.
  • Analyze the impact of these market & regulatory changes, oversee, develop, and implement new processes and reporting to manage trade life cycle in these markets.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 8 years relevant working experience, preferably with 5 years in Asset Management/Custody
  • Proficiency in written and oral English and Mandarin
