We are seeking a Strategic Asset Allocation Specialist to join our team at Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. As a Strategic Asset Allocation Specialist, you will be responsible for performing data analysis and building asset allocation models, recommending asset allocations for multi-asset portfolios, contributing to asset allocation strategies in monthly investment committee meetings, and preparing quarterly asset allocation reports.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree or above, majoring in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analysis, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics, or related subjects.
  • Minimum of 3 years of solid experience in asset allocation analysis, economic and financial market data analysis, and model building.
  • Able to work independently and willing to continuously learn and adapt.
  • Self-motivated, able to prioritize and navigate in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal (English, Mandarin, and Cantonese) and written communication skills (both English and Chinese), organizational ability, analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills, and a flexible work attitude.
  • Excellent skills in quantitative analysis and financial modeling.
  • Possess professional qualifications such as CFA (Certified Financial Analyst) is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Bloomberg, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong risk control/compliance thinking and good operational skills.
  • High standards of professional ethics, integrity, and commitment.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of asset allocation principles, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication skills. In return, we offer a competitive salary range of HKD $800,000 - HKD $1,200,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
