Deliver a comprehensive suite of in-house legal support to Global Operations, particularly in Sourcing, alongside other Corporate Functions that bolster the Global Sourcing initiatives across the Asia Pacific region.Promote legal adherence, enhance risk awareness, and ensure transparency throughout operations.

Primary Duties:

Offer legal counsel and propose actionable strategies to business partners regarding their daily operational activities.Conduct investigations, research, and resolve legal issues within corporate guidelines to secure a favorable position for the company.Oversee and facilitate legal services including advisory roles, company secretary responsibilities, contract assessments, drafting and negotiations, transaction structuring, legal risk evaluations, and dispute mitigation to safeguard the interests of adidas.Evaluate and/or formulate pertinent legal policies and procedures to better shield adidas' interests.Deliver training sessions to Sourcing stakeholders to enhance legal awareness and ensure adherence to internal protocols and applicable external regulations.Collaborate with business stakeholders to collect all necessary information and directives to draft essential documentation for business engagements.Assess legal inquiries from Sourcing offices and provide appropriate guidance to resolve issues.Engage closely with other legal departments within adidas to ensure effective cooperation aimed at achieving favorable outcomes for the organization.Manage relationships with external legal service providers, including law firms and consultants.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:

Robust expertise in contract drafting and negotiation.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills necessary for handling confidential matters with internal and external stakeholders.Proficient business communication in English (both written and spoken); proficiency in additional Asian languages (e.g., Chinese, Vietnamese, Bahasa) is a plus.Strong client relationship management abilities, capable of engaging with clients at all organizational levels.Sound commercial acumen with the ability to pragmatically assess risks.Capacity to work autonomously.High degree of stakeholder engagement and effective prioritization skills.Excellent analytical capabilities to dissect complex issues and enhance processes and methodologies.

Required Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

Qualified solicitor in a common law jurisdiction or equivalent, with a minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience, ideally possessing relevant in-house expertise.Substantial experience in general corporate matters and commercial agreements.
