Key Responsibilities

The primary duties of this role include:

  • Providing strategic insights and updates on market development activities directly to the local General Manager.
  • Developing and implementing business plans to meet corporate objectives for product lines, utilizing segmentation and targeting strategies to optimize market penetration.
  • Designing and managing promotional campaigns and marketing events aimed at enhancing brand visibility and increasing market share.
  • Overseeing the creation of promotional materials and advertising campaigns to effectively communicate product benefits in targeted markets.
  • Analyzing sales data and market trends to forecast future needs and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Managing budget allocations for market development activities, ensuring efficient use of resources to maximize impact.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer service, to ensure a unified approach to market development.
  • Cultivating and maintaining professional relationships with key opinion leaders and industry experts to drive growth and achieve business results.
  • Addressing and resolving any issues or conflicts that arise during market development activities effectively.
  • Alliance Management for distribution and partnering counterparts.
  • Performing other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the company.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Job Specification

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, pharmaceutical sciences, life sciences, business administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of market development experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market, including regulations, competitive landscape, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable plans.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Proactive, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in market research tools, data analysis software, and the MS Office suite.
  • Knowledge of therapeutic areas relevant to the company's product portfolio is highly desirable.
