Role OverviewCiti Internal Audit (IA) provides independent assessments of Citi's control environment, risk management, and governance for key stakeholders including Citi's board of directors, senior management, and regulators. We are a global function with over 2,500 professionals providing assurance across all of Citi's businesses.
Responsibilities- Consistently develop, execute, and deliver audit reports in a timely manner, in accordance with Internal Audit and Regulatory standards.
- Review and approve the Business Monitoring Quarterly summary and serve as lead reviewer for all reviews.
- Collaborate with teams across the business and determine impact on overall control environment and audit approach.
- Manage audit activities for a component of a product line, function, or legal entity at the regional or country level.
- Leverage a comprehensive expertise to manage a team.
- Advise the business on change initiatives, while advancing integrated auditing concepts and technology adoption.
- Recommend interventions to issues, propose solutions for risk and control problems, partner with Directors and Managing Directors to develop approaches for broader corporate issues.
- Apply in-depth understanding of Internal Audit standards, policies, and regulations to a specific product or function area.
- 6-10 years of relevant experience.
- Related certifications (CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA, or similar) preferred.
- Effective comprehension of business side of audit function and subject matter expertise regarding technology application.
- Effective verbal, written, and negotiation skills.
- Effective project management skills.
- Effective influencing and relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment.
- Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.
