Key Responsibilities
  1. Risk Assessment and Audit Planning

Assist in the formulation of the annual audit plan, identifying key risk areas and developing strategies to mitigate them.

Audit Execution and Reporting

Plan, oversee, and execute audits in accordance with predetermined timelines and quality standards, ensuring that all audit findings are thoroughly documented and presented in a clear and concise manner.

Compliance and Governance

Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and compile related reports, ensuring that all compliance and governance requirements are met.

Team Management and Development

Support the development and management of the team, providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

External Audit Coordination

Coordinate and monitor audits conducted by external auditors, regulators, and international organizations, ensuring that all requirements are met and that the company's reputation is maintained.

Requirements
  1. A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline, along with professional qualifications in CPA/CIA/CISA or equivalent.
  2. A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in accounting or auditing for an Internal Audit Manager post. Candidates with less than 6 years of relevant work experience may be considered for the role of Internal Audit Assistant Manager.
  3. Preferred experience in the life insurance or financial services industry, and a strong understanding of insurance legislative and regulatory requirements.
  4. Proficient in data analytics techniques and application.
  5. Strong analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills, including the ability to write comprehensive reports.
  6. Proactive and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
