You will build and maintain good relationships with our business users, constantly assessing user feedback and making necessary improvements. This will involve working closely with our teams to understand their needs and providing technical expertise to support their goals.

Agree Priorities and Timescales

You will be able to agree priorities and timescales with our local management teams and Group IT to effectively manage resources and expectations. This will involve working closely with our teams to ensure that our IT systems are running efficiently and effectively.

Develop IT Policies

You will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing IT policies and procedures. This will involve working closely with our teams to ensure that our IT systems are running efficiently and effectively.

Ensure Compliance

You will be accountable for ensuring that all our IT services are delivered and comply with current legislation, standards, and best practices. This will involve working closely with our teams to ensure that our IT systems are running efficiently and effectively.

Job Requirements:

  1. Education

You will need a degree or above in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent. This will provide you with the technical expertise and knowledge to perform the role.

Experience

You will need a minimum of 10 years solid experience, with at least 5 years at managerial level. This will provide you with the leadership and management skills to perform the role.

Project Management

Experience in project management, including planning, budgetary control, people management, managing corporate-wide, regional large-scale projects, and exposure to the retail sector is an advantage.

Leadership and Stakeholder Management

Leadership and stakeholder management is highly preferred. This will involve working closely with our teams and stakeholders to ensure that our IT systems are running efficiently and effectively.

IT Support Functions

Experience of managing/running a 1st & 2nd line support function as well as network and infrastructure experience is required.

ERP Implementation

ERP implementation and application management experience is preferable.

Operating Systems

Experience of managing Windows and Mac operating systems and hardware is an advantage.

Business Requirements

You will need to be able to agree on business requirements and convert them into technical solutions where appropriate.

Communication Skills

You will need strong customer orientation, with good communication, interpersonal, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

Language Skills

Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin is a MUST.
