The School of Accountancy at CUHK Business School invites applications for positions of Professors / Associate Professors / Assistant Professors, commencing duty in July 2025.
About the SchoolThe School of Accountancy is a renowned institution that has consistently demonstrated research excellence and is ranked among the top schools worldwide in terms of research strength.
Programmes Offered- BBA in Professional Accountancy (PACC) - Focusing on globally oriented accounting skills, this programme is ideal for aspiring professional accountants or specialists in an accounting-related area.
- Master of Accountancy (MAcc) - This programme provides students with the conceptual and practical accounting knowledge to generate valuable business insights.
- Executive Master of Professional Accountancy with SNAI (EMPAcc) - Jointly offered with Shanghai National Accounting Institute (SNAI), this programme focuses on the latest developments in accounting and finance.
- MPhil-PhD in Accountancy - This programme focuses on theoretical and applied accounting research with an interdisciplinary thrust including statistical decision theory and law.
Applicants should have a doctoral degree (or one that is close to completion) in accounting, finance, or economics. The appointee will be required to teach postgraduate and undergraduate accounting or accounting program-related courses and will be expected to publish in top-tier accounting/finance journals.

- Contract End Gratuity: Assistant professor appointees will be entitled to receive a 15 percent contract end gratuity upon completion of the entire term of the contract, rewarding the dedication and long-term commitment.
- Medical Benefits and Relocation Allowances: We provide comprehensive health insurance coverage to the appointee and his/her spouse & dependent children (if applicable) and relocation allowances for eligible new appointee recruited from outside Hong Kong.
- Low Tax Rate: The effective income tax rate in Hong Kong is a maximum of 15 percent, allowing you to make the most of your earnings.
