Job Description

The role of Senior / Business Technology Manager (E-Banking) is a critical position within Bank Of China (Hong Kong) Limited, requiring an individual with exceptional business analysis skills and experience in managing IT projects. The successful candidate will serve as the primary liaison between the business and IT units, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective project implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough business and user requirement analyses to inform IT project development.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the business and IT units, fostering open communication and resolving any arising issues.
  • Oversee the implementation of IT projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Mentor and manage Business Technology team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and success.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying and resolving any problems that may arise during the implementation process.
  • Provide exceptional support to business users, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Prepare comprehensive management reports, highlighting key project metrics and performance indicators.
  • Manage project budgets and procurement processes, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in risk analysis for new product launches, mitigating potential risks and ensuring successful project outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Hold a degree in Business Studies, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Possess at least 3 years of relevant experience in business analysis, with candidates having more experience being considered for senior manager positions and those with less experience being considered for assistant manager roles.
  • Experience in eBanking applications such as Online Banking and Mobile Banking is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrate solid experience in liaising with all relevant parties in IT or Business and working with business stakeholders.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Show self-motivation, willingness to work in a competent, challenging, and teamwork environment.
  • possess good command in both written and spoken Chinese and English, knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.
  • Have solid experience in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
