The Opportunity:

At Hasbro, we are embarking on a transformative journey to revolutionize our Supply Chain. As a key member of our Industrial Engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in driving productivity, value creation, and waste elimination. You will have the opportunity to implement Lean methodology and Design to Value principles to assess, audit, and evaluate current processes, identifying potential gaps and implementing effective change to maximize value and reduce variation.

Responsibilities:

Collaborative Lean Practitioner

  • Lead strategic Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, and quick hit projects from definition through execution, coordinating cross-functional resources and collaborating with external suppliers.
  • Drive and implement labor efficiency through deployment of global industrial engineering process, tools, and standards.

Change Agent with Excellent Communication Skills

  • Work cross-functionally to develop and deliver training to all levels of organization as needed, building the skills of all functional leaders and associates through hands-on interactions and personal mentoring in lean management tools.
  • Approach each project and internal customers with the understanding that change requires trust and partnership, communicating in a clear, respectful, and persuasive way to lead to buy-in and positive outcomes with continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Establish appropriate metrics and report on progress, achievements, and results, including executive-level reporting, management updates, and best practice sharing throughout the organization.

Analytical Problem Solver

  • Dive deep into data and use it to jump into problem-solving mode quickly, seeking to understand before suggesting a solution. You enjoy gathering data and information to prioritize issues and use your expertise to find the best business approach.
  • Develop and execute project plans using strong project management skills.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 3-5+ years' experience in Industrial Engineering or related field, with experience in Lean-focused organizations and planning and leading Kaizen events.
  • Previous facilitator and coaching experiences where problem-solving, process development, and behavior change methods and tools have been used.
  • Strong proficiency in Lean methodology, principles, and tools such as Value Stream Mapping & Kaizen.
  • Plant Industrial Engineering & manufacturing operations experience preferred, ideally in consumer product goods, food, or beverage.
  • Maintain strong time management, prioritization, and organization skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills across functional audiences with different backgrounds.
  • Detailed knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) including Visio process mapping experience.
  • Fluent in English is mandatory. Multi-lingual skills (Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese) are preferred.
  • Frequent and regular travel to supplier sites is required.
