Financial Accountant

Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will deliver essential accounting services to our financial reporting team, which includes:

  • Participating in month-end closing activities and preparing necessary journal entries.
  • Managing a complete set of accounts while ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
  • Contributing to the annual budgeting process and engaging in management accounting tasks for specific finance divisions.
  • Collaborating with auditors to prepare statutory accounts for various group entities and assisting with diverse ad hoc projects.

Qualifications for Success:

  • A qualified accountant holding a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of pertinent experience; candidates with exposure to both Big 4 firms and publicly listed companies are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong technical skills and familiarity with Hong Kong financial reporting standards.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Self-sufficient and proactive with a positive demeanor, capable of meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative team player with strong analytical and communication abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Excel; prior experience with Oracle accounting systems or Hyperion is advantageous.
  • High-caliber candidates may be considered for a Senior Accountant position.
