Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Accounting Manager to join our team at China CITIC Bank International Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the team to manage all activities of general ledger control and reconciliations, developing streamlined accounting guidelines, and ensuring effective operation in the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the team to manage all activities of general ledger control and reconciliations;
  • Develop and implement streamlined accounting guidelines to ensure effective operation in the department;
  • Keep abreast of current accounting standards and disclosure requirements and implement the requirements to accounting system;
  • Align the accounting treatments for both local and overseas units;
  • Provide technical advice and support to the PRC subsidiary and overseas branches on matters of general ledger control and financial management system enhancement;
  • Handle new product developments, including accounting treatment and related system enhancement;
  • Assist in the operational risk control affairs for the department;
  • Lead, develop and coach the team for the conduction of accountancy work and strengthen their technical knowledge.
Requirements
  • Degree holder in Accounting or related disciplines or a qualified accountant;
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in management and/or financial accounting in banking industry, with at least 4 years in managerial level;
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and the industry & market development of accounting practice;
  • Familiar with the Bank's accounting policies and procedures and regulatory requirements;
  • Good analytical, communication and management skills;
  • Good Command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
